So, before anyone says that I’ve betrayed my own scanlation group and sister, I feel like I need to clarify. HeeJoo absolutely knows that I’ve created by own website! Plus, this serves as a blog-type-thing too, for both HeeJoo and I. But why did I do it?
There were so many projects I wanted to work on, but because DotR is so busy all the time. It’s kind of like a sister group, because I’m technically a part of DotR anyway. I started some new scanlations because I didn’t want to add to the work loads of our other staff, because they’re already pretty much swamped. So, basically I’m just doing these scanlations for my own pleasure. There are so many good ones that DotR haven’t been able to pick up, and there are so many reasons why. That’s why I started Leaping into Puddles. Isn’t that exciting? 😀
Plus, the series I usually pick are almost always rather short. For example, Kimi ni Happiness, is only one volume (of five chapters) ! 😀 I have a couple of oneshots lined up as well, but since I’m going on vacation tomorrow morning (YAY!) I won’t have them released until afterward. There really isn’t much to say, except that I want to help out DotR as much as I can.
For Kimi ni Happiness, the art is super duper pretty and the story is cliche but cute. I’m a sucker for short shoujo stories, because I hate to be too invested in a long-running manga only to see it go downhill (see: Gakuen Alice and Skip Beat!). Anyway, I hope you enjoy the first chapter. I sure did!
