What is Leaping into Puddles?
Essentially, I scanlate manga. The website itself is an outlet for people to access my scanlations. I started Leaping into Puddles because there were a lot of short series that I wanted to scanlate, but DayoftheRiver is still much too busy. We have a lot on our hands, so I thought I’d scanlate them myself. I wondered a lot about whether or not I should just release them under DayoftheRiver, but since it’s just me I figured not. Plus, this isn’t a traditional scanlation group in the sense that it gets really big and I recruit people and then it becomes a lot to manage. I already have one of those: DayoftheRiver. This is somewhere where I can share some particular scanlations that I really wanted to work on. Nothing else. Therefore, I will not be recruiting anybody. Everything you see here will be done on my own.

Affiliation with DayoftheRiver
I talked about it with my sister, and although we can call Leaping into Puddles and DayoftheRiver “sister sites”, we aren’t affiliated in any other way. HeeJoo doesn’t make decisions for me here at LIP, and even though I’m the co-admin at DayoftheRiver, the relationship hasn’t changed. I have LIP and DOTR, while HeeJoo will focus 100% on DOTR.
